About GrassMax

Late September in Ephrata belongs to the fair, with Main Street closed off and the whole borough downtown after dark, and afterward the town slides into the finest growing weather of the year. GrassMax spends that stretch on lawn care, when cool nights and heavy dew push cool-season turf into its strongest growth and a cut lawn holds its color for days. There is a density a Lancaster County lawn reaches in October — deep, even, almost upholstered — that makes the mowing feel like an argument well made. Cuts stay on schedule, edges stay sharp, and leaves come off before they can mat down and smother what is underneath. GrassMax works Ephrata and the towns around it, from Akron and Reamstown over to Denver and Adamstown.
