Hudson & Son's Tree Service

About Hudson & Son's Tree Service

Out at the far western edge of Lawrence County, Enon Valley runs down toward Little Beaver Creek with the Ohio line only a few fields away. Spring arrives as mud and wind, and wind is what finds the weak limb hanging over the barn roof. Hudson & Son's Tree Service handles the whole arc of it — removal once a tree has finished its life, trimming to keep a fence line and a pasture gate usable, pruning that sets a young shade tree up for the next thirty summers. After a storm walks through the valley, the tangle comes off the drive and the wire and the good wood gets stacked. By evening the place looks orderly again, which is most of what anybody wanted in the first place.
