Margo's Tree Surgery

About Margo's Tree Surgery

On Main Street in Emmaus the old stone houses stand close to the sidewalk under a canopy that has been growing there a very long time, and the light on the pavement shifts all afternoon. Margo's Tree Surgery works the yards behind those fronts and the newer blocks past them — mowing, trimming, edging, and the cleanups that bookend spring and fall. In winter it is plows and shovels: drives cut open, walks and steps cleared, salt down where the shade keeps snow from ever letting go. The borough is compact and its properties sit close together, which rewards a light touch and a tidy finish. Nothing left in the street, nothing left on the walk.
