About RD Excavating Company Inc

Weather rolls into Elverson off the ridge, and the difference between an inch and eight is often just which way the wind bends around Welsh Mountain. RD Excavating Company Inc puts its equipment to winter use: plowing driveways and lots, opening long farm lanes, stacking and relocating snow when there is nowhere left to push it, and salting the low spots that glaze over first. There is a moment at the end of a storm — machines idling, lot black, banks cut square — that is its own reward. Then the wind shifts and it begins again the next night. Out here, the road being open is the whole day working or not.
