About Mr B's Lawn Services

November in Ellwood City is the hinge of the year: the last leaves come down along Route 288, the mower goes into the shed, and the plow comes off the wall. Mr B's Lawn Services works both sides of that hinge — mowing, trimming, edging and leaf removal while the grass grows, then plowing, shoveling and salting once it stops. Winter arrives here out of the northwest with very little warning, so the work gets judged in the dark by porch light. A cleared drive at five in the morning is a small kindness the whole household feels. Come April the grass starts again and so does the route.
