About East West Services

Elk Township is hollow and ridge, hardwood and open field, and the mowing here follows whatever the land already decided. East West Services works the gravel-road properties and the ones set back behind a line of maples, keeping grass even where it runs up against pasture and the woods' edge. June growth on this ground is fast and forgiving, while August asks for a taller cut and a lighter hand; trimming closes the gap around posts, foundations and the mailbox out at the road. By late day the shadows come long off the ridge, and a freshly cut lawn under that light is worth stopping to look at.
