Stoneworks Plus

About Stoneworks Plus

August in the Wyoming Valley comes on heavy and green, the Susquehanna low and slow at the bend below town. Stoneworks Plus spends it mowing, edging, trimming and topping up mulch on the yards of Edwardsville and the boroughs packed in tight beside it. Beds get cleared in spring, then again when the leaves come down and the wind starts pushing them into every corner it can find. There is a rhythm to a street done end to end; you can hear where the crew has been by how quiet it goes afterward. The reward is simple enough — a whole block of yards looking cared for on the same afternoon. Kingston, Pringle, Wilkes-Barre, and home.
