About Jaylns Lawn Care / Hardscaping and Excavation

The ground in this part of Monroe County is shale, clay and stone, and it makes no secret of it — frost heaves the driveways every March and every spade hits something. Jaylns Lawn Care / Hardscaping and Excavation works with that ground rather than against it, moving earth, setting hardscape, and keeping lawns cut and edged through the green half of the year. Winter turns the operation over to snow removal and the particular pleasure of a drive opened before the first headlights come up Route 611. There is a kind of order this work leaves behind: grass even, stone sitting level, water going where it ought to go. In Stroud township that order has to survive a real freeze and thaw, which is exactly what makes it worth doing right.
