Beck's Maintenance

About Beck's Maintenance

The Allegheny Front stands over Duncansville like a long wall, and nobody living beneath it needs to be told what that does to a winter. Beck's Maintenance keeps drives, lots and walkways open when a storm sets in — plowing, shoveling and de-icing through the small hours — then trades the blade for mowers and trimmers once the ground softens in spring. The finest moment of the year might be five in the morning after a heavy night: headlights sweeping a driveway that is black and clear, banks stacked square on either side. Summer asks the same patience in a quieter key, a straight line held along a walk, a lawn brought back to even. Blair County gets both halves, all twelve months.
