About Douglas Brothers Landscaping

July evenings on the Struble Trail smell of warm dust and creek water, and the light hangs over the Brandywine meadows long past supper. Douglas Brothers Landscaping is often still out in it — mowing, running the string trimmer around mailbox posts and swing sets, edging a walk until the line is crisp enough to sight down. Grass in Downingtown comes on fast through a humid Chester County summer, so the cure is showing up on schedule rather than showing up heroically. Spring and fall bring the other half of the year: cleanups, leaves hauled off, beds tidied, the yard handed back to the season. When the fireflies rise out of a lawn cut an hour earlier, it is hard to picture better work.
