About Landscaping By Charles McGlinn, Inc.

Where Beaver Creek slips into the Brandywine, Downingtown's streets get older and tighter — small front lawns, stone curbs, driveways barely wider than the car. Landscaping By Charles McGlinn, Inc. does the borough work that scale demands: mowing and trimming those close yards, edging along the walks, spring and fall cleanups, leaves gone before the storm drains have to care. Winter turns the same narrow lots into a puzzle, and the answer is patience — plow what will take a plow, shovel what will not, salt the steps and the pitched apron out to the street. An April afternoon after rain, sun coming back over the rooftops and every lawn on the block freshly cut, is about as good as this town looks. That is the version of Downingtown worth working for.
