The York Handyman

About The York Handyman

When a wet snow comes up the Susquehanna valley and spreads over York County, it is the heavy kind — the sort that has to be moved before it packs down and turns to glazed ice. The York Handyman does that work around Dover: plowing driveways, clearing walks and steps by hand where a blade cannot reach, salting the spots that sit in shade the whole short day. A driveway opened before the first alarm sounds quietly changes the shape of somebody's entire morning. The storms do not schedule themselves, so neither does the truck. Dover, and out toward York and the towns in between.
