Lahr Property Maintenance

About Lahr Property Maintenance

October wind comes down the hills here and strips the oaks in about a week, and then the ground work begins. Lahr Property Maintenance takes care of the whole yard through that turn of the year — mowing while the grass still grows, blowing and hauling leaves, trimming back the ragged edges, and putting a property to bed for the cold. There is something good about standing at the end of a raked-out lawn under bare trees, the beds clean, the walks clear, the whole place put right. In summer it is the steady rhythm of the weekly cut and a sharp border along the drive. The work runs across Douglass and out to Gilbertsville, Boyertown and Pottstown.
