About Heavy Weight Builders, LLC

Donora climbs straight up from the horseshoe bend of the Monongahela, and every street in it is either a hill or the top of one. Heavy Weight Builders, LLC handles snow on that grade — plowing steep drives and lots, clearing walks and steps, and salting the turns where a car would otherwise slide back down toward McKean Avenue. River fog creeps up the hillside overnight and glazes whatever fell earlier, so the second treatment matters more here than the first. Getting a hill street open before the morning shift heads for the bridge is the whole reason to be out at four. When the sun finally cuts into the valley, the pavement is dark and the curb line is showing again.
