About Summit Outdoor Services LLC

The hilltop lots in Murrysville municipality get the wind first and the view with it — ridge after ridge stacking east into Westmoreland County, hazy blue on a clear afternoon. Summit Outdoor Services LLC mows that high ground, working the slopes and the crowns, trimming out the rocky edges and cutting a line along the drive so a wide lawn does not simply spill into gravel. Up there the grass dries fast and burns faster, and a yard in the hollow behind it may still be wet at ten in the morning, so the route follows the land rather than the map. Spring and fall cleanups bookend the season, clearing what wind and weather deposit on exposed ground. On a breezy July evening, a hilltop lawn cut clean is about as good as the county looks.
