About Greenwood Landscaping

North of Danville the ground climbs to Montour Ridge, and the farms and yards along the way spend their summers in a green so deep it reads almost blue from a distance. Greenwood Landscaping mows and trims that country — long lawns with a fencerow at the far end, shaded yards under old sugar maples, borders that go weedy inside a week of Susquehanna humidity. Mahoning Creek runs cool through the middle of it and the low ground stays soft, so mowing gets timed to the field as much as to the calendar. A finished lawn with its edge cut sharp against the drive is the sort of thing people notice from the road without knowing quite why. Come November they gather the leaf drift and put the yards to bed.
