A&S Lawn and Plowing

About A&S Lawn and Plowing

At three in the morning Mill Street in Danville is empty and blue, every brick sill holding an inch of new snow. A&S Lawn and Plowing is out in it — plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks and steps, laying salt so the first person through a door at daybreak finds the way already open. The North Branch pulls cold straight up the valley and a storm here can turn to sleet before sunrise, so the timing of a pass matters more than the tonnage moved. The satisfaction arrives early and it is simple: black pavement, a clean cut at the curb, a town that gets to start on time. Danville, Riverside, Mahoning Township, Bloomsburg and the Route 11 corridor.
