About Fitz & Smith Inc

Dallastown sits on a rise in southern York County where the farm fields roll off toward the Mason-Dixon line and winter often arrives as ice long before it arrives as snow. Fitz & Smith Inc works that hard weather — plowing lots and drives, clearing sidewalks, and spreading salt on the glaze that forms overnight along Route 74 and the streets running off it. A storm here can turn to rain by noon and freeze solid by dark, so timing is everything. The measure of a night like that is simple: pavement you can walk on and a drive you can back out of. Snow removal and ice control for Dallastown, Red Lion, Yoe and the York County towns nearby.
