About Johnston Nursery Landscaping

Creekside is a handful of streets along Crooked Creek with hills closing in on both sides, the whole borough small enough to walk before your coffee is gone. Johnston Nursery Landscaping mows and trims and edges through the Indiana County summer, then clears the yards when the hillsides drop their leaves into them all at once. Grass grows well in this bottomland — quickly, thickly — and it asks for a steady hand more than a heroic one. Coming back week after week is the craft of it. The reward is a village whose front yards line up neat and even against the creek road.
