Martin's Tree Service

About Martin's Tree Service

Corry sits high on the plateau where the lake-effect clouds come off Erie and unload for days at a time, and every hardwood in town knows the weight of it. Martin's Tree Service reads that weight ahead of time, pruning out the crossing limbs and doing tree trimming back from the roofline so a February snow has less to hold onto. Storm damage cleanup follows the nights when the wind comes down out of the north and the sugar maples give up an arm. Tree removal is the last resort and the tidiest one, handled so the lawn beside it is walkable the same afternoon. In a place of long winters and short, brilliant springs, a sound tree over the porch is worth keeping.
