B&A's Landscape

About B&A's Landscape

Coraopolis lies flat along the Ohio and then rises hard behind it, so a yard here is either bottomland or hillside with very little in between. B&A's Landscape takes both kinds. The river light comes up pale and wide over the flats early, and by mid-morning the mower lines are running true across grass that has had all night to drink the fog. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass, when the edge along a walk goes crisp and the whole lot suddenly looks intentional. Lawn care, week after week, in a river town that likes its business kept in order.
