About Heddings Lawn & Landscaping

Evening comes slow up the Moshannon valley, and it is a fine hour to stand at the road and look back at a lawn that has just been cut. Heddings Lawn & Landscaping works that side of Cooper Township, where the yards run out toward old rail grades and the hemlocks lean over dark water. Mowing, trimming, bed edging, seasonal cleanup — the ordinary rounds, done so a place looks cared for from a passing car. Plateau soil is thin and stony and it rewards patience more than hurry, which suits the pace out here fine. When the maples let go in October they come back for the leaves, and the yards go into winter squared away.
