Eric’s property service

About Eric’s property service

The river hills above the Susquehanna at Conestoga are steep enough that a half inch of ice can rearrange a whole day. Eric's property service works those grades in winter, plowing the switchback drives that drop toward Safe Harbor and Pequea and clearing the flat ground up top where the wind piles it deep against the outbuildings. Salt goes on the pitched sections first, because gravity is the thing you are really plowing against here. Steps and walkways are cleared and kept that way through a long storm, not just once at the start of it. When the sun comes up over the far bank, the hard part is already behind you.
