Follow the Perkiomen south past Oaks and the valley widens toward the Schuylkill, farmland and floodplain trading places the whole way down. Larson Landscape works that ground on both sides of the calendar, mowing, trimming, edging and cleaning up when things are growing, plowing, shoveling and salting when they are not. Summer runs on rotation and rhythm; winter runs on forecasts and phone calls at strange hours. The same properties get looked after either way, which means knowing where the soft ground sits in June and where the ice forms in January. A yard tended all the way around the year shows it, and that is the aim.
