About Groundscapes Management Inc.

Night is when winter does its real work in Cogan Station: wind slides down off the high ground, the farm fields along the township roads fill in, and a lane that was bare at supper has vanished by midnight. Groundscapes Management Inc. treats snow as one more part of managing the grounds, plowing and clearing so a property comes through the storm still usable. The care lives in the details, with banks pushed back far enough to hold the next fall, a turnaround opened wide for the delivery truck and the mailbox left standing. Under a February moon, a freshly cleared drive reads like a dark ribbon drawn across a white page. By sunrise, the grounds are ready to be lived on again.
