Battellino Land Service

About Battellino Land Service

French Creek loops slow and wide through Cochranton, and the snow that fills its valley often comes off Lake Erie in bands that arrive with almost no warning. Battellino Land Service works both ends of the Crawford County year, mowing, trimming and clearing while the bottomland is green, plowing and salting once the squalls start stacking up. Farm lanes here run long, and getting one open before morning chores counts as a genuine accomplishment. Summer gives back what winter takes: hayfields, high grass and long evening light along the water. Cochranton, Meadville, Conneaut Lake and the townships between them.
