About Killion's Trucking & Excavating and Tree service

Coalport grew up along Clearfield Creek on the strength of the coal in the surrounding hills, and the little borough still keeps that story in its coal museum and its sturdy, close-set houses. In winter the creek valley holds the cold, and a snowfall can linger on the ground for weeks. Killion's Trucking & Excavating and Tree service handles the plowing here, opening driveways and clearing lots after winter storms. The same kind of muscle that once kept this coal town working now keeps neighbors moving through January. By daybreak the drives along the creek are open, the plowed snow is stacked high at the edges, and Coalport can get on with its day.
