About New Heights Tree Services

Darby Creek runs behind the mill blocks in Clifton Heights, and the sycamores and silver maples along it lean over yards that were laid out narrow a long time ago. New Heights Tree Services works overhead in that space, pruning and trimming from a rope where a bucket would never fit, easing limbs off the roofs along Baltimore Pike and the streets that drop toward the water. A removal here is a study in patience — the wood let down hand over hand, the flower bed and the neighbor's car untouched at the end of the day. Autumn storms slide up from the Delaware and fill the alleys, and clearing them out fast is what the neighbors remember. Working high over a tight Delaware County block, the reward is looking down at the end and seeing nothing out of place.
