About D & A FORESRTY AND LAND SERVICES

Up on the Clifford plateau the June mornings arrive white with mist, and the hayfields let it go slowly, field by field, until the old stone rows show again. D & A FORESRTY AND LAND SERVICES keeps lawns out here where the ground rolls hard and the sugar maples throw long shade across a yard by mid-afternoon. Mowing, trimming, edging, the cleanups between seasons — plain work, and not a plain result: grass held even right up to the fence line and the gravel drive. There's a particular satisfaction in the last pass of the day, when the cut lines run straight toward the treeline and the air finally cools. From Clifford and Royal out through Lenoxville, Dundaff and Elkdale, this is lawn care shaped by high ground and short summers.
