About Helsel Bros Outdoors

Claysburg lies at the foot of Blue Knob, and living under the highest ground in this corner of Pennsylvania means the mountain writes your calendar. Helsel Bros Outdoors works both sides of it — mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups while the Cove is green, then plowing, shoveling and ice control when the Allegheny Front collects the storms and hands them down. A cut lawn in a valley this wide reads clean from a long way off, and a driveway cleared at first light is the difference between a normal morning and a lost one. Wind off the ridge drifts the same three spots shut every winter, and knowing them beforehand is half the job. They serve Claysburg and the surrounding Blair and Bedford county towns, including Duncansville, East Freedom and Roaring Spring.
