The Landscape Writer

About The Landscape Writer

There is good reason a business might call itself The Landscape Writer, because a freshly mown lawn really is a kind of handwriting, lines laid down row by row across the page of a yard. In Clay, where fields and fencerows set the rhythm of the land, that writing shows up as even mowing stripes and clean margins trimmed along every walk and bed. Spring mornings open with birdsong and dew silvering the grass, and by midday the composition is finished, legible from the road and pleasing from the porch. Each week brings a fresh draft, and every one tells the same simple story: this home is cared for.
