Blades Lawn Care

About Blades Lawn Care

Clarks Summit sits up on the shoulder of the Abington hills, a thousand feet above the Lackawanna valley, and the weather always finds it first. Blades Lawn Care works that high ground all year — mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups while the maples along State Street are still green, then plowing, shoveling and ice control once the ridge turns white. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut in clean parallel bands on a June evening, and another kind entirely in a driveway opened at five in the morning so somebody can get down the hill to work. The crew reads a storm the way locals do: what the valley gets as rain, the Summit gets as inches. Neighbors in Clarks Green, Chinchilla, Waverly and South Abington count on the same steady hand.
