About Eichenlaub Inc

The Allegheny runs wide and slow past Cheswick, and on cool mornings the fog sits on the water until the sun finally gets over the far bank. Eichenlaub Inc works the riverside lots and the streets that climb away from Route 28 — mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, then clearing snow and ice once the valley turns hard and bright. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut in straight passes with the edges snapped clean along the walk, and in a driveway opened and salted before the first car door slams. Winter here tends to come down the river ahead of the forecast, so the work starts early, because early is when it matters. From Cheswick out to Springdale, Harmarville and Creighton, the aim is a property that looks minded from the sidewalk.
