About Hunter's Outdoor Services

Chestnuthill Township lies along the back of Blue Mountain, where the Poconos begin their long tilt down toward the Lehigh Valley, and a storm that gives one town rain gives Brodheadsville eight inches. Hunter's Outdoor Services is a snow operation built for exactly that: plowing driveways and lots, opening the long rural lanes off Route 715, clearing walks and steps down to pavement. Nor'easters push up out of the southeast and pile against the ridge, and the wind behind them fills a cut lane back in before you've turned around. Working through the dark with headlights on falling snow, a driver comes to know every mailbox and culvert on the route by feel. Morning shows the result — a clean drive, banks pushed back wide enough to take the next one.
