Jared's Lawn and Tree Service

About Jared's Lawn and Tree Service

Chest Springs sits high on the Allegheny Plateau in Cambria County, so even in high summer the evenings turn cool and the wind carries the scent of mown hayfields across open ridgetops. Up here the growing season runs shorter and every good week counts, and Jared's Lawn and Tree Service puts each one to use with steady mowing and careful trimming. The borough is tiny, just a few quiet streets under a very wide sky, and a crisp lawn stands out in all that openness like a freshly made bed. As the sun drops behind the far hills, the stripes in the grass catch the last gold light and hold it for a moment longer.
