Coleman's Lawn Care

About Coleman's Lawn Care

Saturday in Melrose Park sounds like mowers, one street starting up after another, and by ten the whole neighborhood smells of cut grass and warm asphalt. Coleman's Lawn Care is out in it, mowing, trimming and edging the tidy front squares and narrow side strips of Cheltenham Township, the kind of lawns you can take in with a single glance. Small yards hide nowhere, so every pass has to be straight and every border has to hold — the line along the driveway, the clean cut where turf meets the porch step. Late spring is the season these blocks look their finest, hedges leafed out and grass thick before the July heat thins it. The work is simple and the result is not: a whole row of houses looking cared for, one lawn at a time.
