Firefly Lawncare

About Firefly Lawncare

The name fits the hour when Chartiers Township is at its best — that half-dark in late June when the bottomland along Chartiers Creek fills with fireflies and the last cut lawn of the day still smells green. Firefly Lawncare mows, edges and tidies yards across these rolling Washington County hills, where old farm ground and newer streets sit side by side on the same slope. The work is measured in small exact things: a level cut over uneven ground, a trimmed line following the curve of a walk, beds left with a clean shoulder against the turf. Summer here is humid and fast-growing, so the rhythm is steady visits rather than heroics, keeping every lawn just ahead of itself. Then autumn arrives off the ridges above Canonsburg and the season closes with leaves gathered and the ground swept bare.
