About Walters' Seasonal Services ( sorry not taking new snow customers at this time)

October is the hinge of the year in Charleroi: one week the mower is still going over damp grass, the next the air off the Monongahela has a mineral bite and the first salt goes down. Walters' Seasonal Services works both sides of that turn, cutting, trimming and clearing leaves through the warm months, then plowing drives and lots, clearing walks and treating ice once winter takes hold of these steep streets. The two halves of the job ask for opposite instincts — patience in July, speed at four in the morning in January — and there's a quiet pleasure in being ready for each. A lawn left with crisp borders in September is the same property you want to hand back to its owner in February with the drive scraped down to pavement. Whichever season it is, the measure is the same: the place looks cared for, and nobody has to think about it.
