About DJB LANDSCAPING LLC

Out past Indiana, the road to Chambersville runs between hayfields and hedgerows, and the hills fold down in long unhurried lines toward Crooked Creek. DJB LANDSCAPING LLC keeps lawns in this corner of Indiana County, mowing and trimming on properties where the yard often ends and the pasture begins with no fence to mark the difference. There is a real satisfaction in a lawn cut clean against that open country — stripes laid true across the slope, a tight line drawn around the mailbox post, the clippings swept back off the gravel. Green comes late here and then stays generous, holding well into September before the maples along the lane start to turn. The work goes best on the cool end of the morning, and the finished yard is left to hold its shape until the next pass comes around.
