About Leroy's Lawn Services
There is a morning every September when the valley air finally turns — dew lying heavy on the grass, the rec park ballfields steaming a little, the whole town breathing easier. Leroy's Lawn Services is out in it, mowing Chambersburg lawns that are greening back up after the August heat, running the trimmer along fence lines, cutting the edges square at walks and drives. Autumn is when a lawn repays a summer of steady cutting, and it is also when the leaves begin their long argument with the turf. Fall cleanups settle that argument; spring cleanups start the whole cycle over again. Ordinary weekly care, done on time, is what makes a yard look effortless.
