About Hardscape & Landscaping

The valley floor here is limestone — springs come up in the middle of pastures, and fieldstone walls still edge properties that were farms long before they were yards. Hardscape & Landscaping works with that ground in Chambersburg, mowing and trimming through the season, holding turf back from stone and concrete so the lines stay honest, then clearing the yard down in spring and again in fall. Grass over shallow limestone dries fast in July and greens up hard in September, which changes how a lawn ought to be cut from one month to the next. Paying attention to that is the difference between a yard that gets by and a yard that looks right. There is nothing showy about any of it, and the finished edge is its own reward.
