Georgia Boy's Lawn Care

About Georgia Boy's Lawn Care

August in this valley is thick — cicadas going in the sycamores, heat shimmering off the highway, grass shooting up in bursts after every evening thunderstorm. Georgia Boy's Lawn Care works straight through it, mowing Chambersburg yards on a schedule that keeps pace with those surges, running the trimmer down the fence lines, cutting the edges, blowing the clippings back off the concrete. Cutting at the right height in that kind of heat is what keeps a lawn green instead of scorched, and by the end of the month it shows plainly. At both ends of the year the rake takes over, opening the season in spring and closing it out in fall. The best part is pulling away from a yard that finally looks like somebody is paying attention to it.
