About ACO Lawn Care

The Conococheague winds through Franklin County with the limestone ground of the Cumberland Valley under it, and that soil grows grass in Chambersburg with an enthusiasm the mowing schedule has to respect. ACO Lawn Care keeps up with it — cutting, trimming, edging, hauling the clippings and leaves away as the season turns — and then meets the other half of the year with a plow blade. Winter comes down off South Mountain in a hurry here, and a driveway cleared to the blacktop before the coffee is finished changes the whole shape of a morning. Salt on the walk, snow pushed well back from the turnaround, the mailbox reachable. Green in July, black pavement in January: the same address, looked after both ways.
