About Pro Maintenance Solutions

February in Chadds Ford township is long gravel lanes, bare sycamores, and a wind that comes across the open fields with nothing to slow it down. Pro Maintenance Solutions works those drives — some of them a quarter mile of curve and pitch before a house even appears — pushing the snow back far enough that the next storm has somewhere to go. Salt on the turnaround, a clear path to the door, the woodpile reachable again. There is real craft in reading a drive: where it drifts, where the ice sets up in shade, how much room the mail carrier needs at the bottom. When the sun finally comes out over the hedgerows and the pavement steams dry, the work looks like nothing happened at all, which is exactly right.
