Beat The Weeds Lawn Care, Part of Ned's Home

About Beat The Weeds Lawn Care, Part of Ned's Home

By the middle of June the fields around Chadds Ford have gone the pale gold that made this valley worth painting, and the hedgerows are thick enough to hide a whole lane. Beat The Weeds Lawn Care, Part of Ned's Home spends that season on the lawns tucked between them — mowing, edging, and going after the crabgrass and clover that creep in wherever the piedmont soil runs thin. The reward is a turf that reads as one color from the porch, with a firm edge along the walk instead of a ragged green spill. Around here a yard sits inside a landscape that already has opinions about beauty, and the work is to hold its own. Come autumn the same lawns get cleared of leaves and put to bed for the winter.
