About Falling Timbers Tree Services

October along the Panhandle Trail turns the Carnegie hillsides copper, and every gust after that takes another load of leaves and a few branches with it. Falling Timbers Tree Services spends the season getting ahead of winter: pruning out the deadwood ice would find first, trimming limbs that hang over a driveway or lean on a slate roof. When a tree has to go, it goes in a controlled sequence, rigged off a solid stem, with the shrubs and the sidewalk exactly as they stood at eight that morning. Storm calls come on their own schedule, and the work then is simple and fast — clear the yard, open the drive, take the wood away. A borough of old houses under old trees needs this done, and done without leaving a mark behind.
