Crush land management

About Crush land management

Some ground in Carnegie has gotten ahead of everybody — a back lot on a slope, a strip along the hill that went to bramble while nobody was watching. Late summer is the honest time to face it, once the growth has shown you exactly how far it means to go. The work is lawn care in its wider sense: mowing, cutting back overgrowth, trimming and edging, and hauling out what the cleanup turns up. There is a specific pleasure in standing at the bottom of a reclaimed slope and being able to see the property line again. Carnegie's hillsides make that a job worth doing all the way to the fence.
