Chase's Tree Service

About Chase's Tree Service

Chartiers Creek bends right through the middle of Carnegie, and the hillsides above it hold houses stacked in rows with big old trees leaning over every one of them. Chase's Tree Service works the tight ground that comes with that — removals staged from a narrow alley, limbs roped down between two roofs, a trunk reduced to loads that fit through a side gate. Summer storms come up the Ohio Valley fast here, and the morning after is for cleanup: split limbs off the porch steps, the driveway opened, the wood loaded and gone. In the calmer weeks it is trimming and pruning — lifting a canopy off a garage, thinning a maple so a small backyard gets sun again. Streets this close together only work when the trees are kept in hand, and that is the job.
