Travis's Lawn Care

About Travis's Lawn Care

Carlisle fills right up on show weekends — the fairgrounds humming, Hanover Street backed up, the whole town suddenly loud — and then it empties out again and the ordinary week resumes. Travis's Lawn Care lives in that ordinary week. Saturday mornings mean mowing, trimming and edging along a route that runs the same yards in the same order, so no lawn ever gets ahead of anybody. Come winter the route holds and the tools change: plowing driveways, shoveling walks, salting the steps where the afternoon melt refreezes overnight. Two seasons, one set of hands, and a town that keeps needing both.
