About Michael B Stoner Inc

Two in the morning on the pike, warehouse lots wide and empty, snow coming down steadily under the yard lights. Michael B Stoner Inc works those hours — plowing lots and drives, stacking the piles where they will not swallow a lane, salting the aprons and walks before the first shift arrives. Carlisle sits where the highways cross, and around here the morning does not wait for the weather to finish. Pulling out at daybreak past a lot that is black and wet instead of white is the whole reward. The plows cover Carlisle and the surrounding Cumberland County towns.
